When I received the unit, after trying and failing to follow the instructions, I called JVC "product service" who tell me, for the first time, that this model is not supported by a simple cable connection, but needs a box. I purchased this product because the information seemed complete and it seemed to fit my existing equipment. I would have given this zero stars, but that seems not allowed. Thankfully, Amazon sent approval for return of the unit. I also saw reviews of other items which were less than cheering. This one was unreviewed, and, thus, a mistake to purchase.
